Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Instructor to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and dance, with experience teaching youth aged 3 and up. You will be responsible for creating a positive and encouraging learning environment while guiding young dancers in foundational dance techniques.

Responsibilities:
* Teach dance classes for children ages 3-12, including but not limited to ballet, folk, jazz, fusion and creative movement.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are fun, engaging, and educational.
* Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of dance.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and studio management.
* Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best while ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Prepare students for performances, showcases, and potential competition opportunities.
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Qualifications:
* Experience teaching dance to children.
* A passion for working with young children and fostering a positive learning environment.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other instructors and staff.
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to creating a positive experience for all students.
* Ability to work over the weekends
* Strong background in one or more dance styles such as ballet, folk, jazz, contemporary or creative movement.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree or certification in dance or education is a plus.
* Previous performance or choreography experience.
* Experience with dance competitions or preparing students for performances.
