Looking for Dance, Gymnastics, Fitness, Music, Theatre, and Performing Arts Instructors to build new and existing programs at established Dance Studio/ Performing Arts Academy

Graceful Steps Dance Academy, a faith based dance academy, is looking to hire a dance and/or tumbling instructor. The ideal candidate will have many years of dance experience in multiple disciplines, demonstrates a strong faith, and has the ability to be a positive role model for our students.

As a Dance Instructor, you will provide on site dance instruction through a variety of entertaining, educational, and fun classes to promote fitness and positive self-esteem to students.

Classes are 45 min long and are on Tuesday and/or Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Instructors are expected to arrive 15 minutes before the start of class.


Responsibilities

- Develop positive relationships with students by providing consistent creative dance instruction

- Maintain positive relationships with students to encourage continued class attendance.

- Instruct students each week, ensuring that they receive a quality dance education.

- Choreograph and prepare students for the yearly recital.

Must have experience in Dance, Tumbling, Acrobatics or Cheerleading. Experience working with children a plus.

Hours: 1 or more classes per week.

Compensation: Based on Experience
