Terpsichore Dance Inc. requires a mature, kind and dedicated Jazz and Tap teacher beginning in the fall of 2013.
We are seeking a qualified individual with a versatile dance background and choreographic finesse in Jazz and Tap with the following qualities:

• A teacher who can both instill discipline and strong technique while making classes dynamic and inviting.
• Experience with the ADAPT Jazz and Tap syllabus is an asset.
We are an established studio of 9 years and growing, with approximately 150 students to date.
The studio offers Royal Academy of Dance Graded and Vocational Ballet exams and have just recently begun ADAPT Jazz and Tap exams. We have a strong competitive team that participates in Calgary Dance Competitions.
Our studio is located in Canmore, Alberta. An upbeat town nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, 20 minutes from the town of Banff and 50 minutes for the city of Calgary.
The studio is equipped with 2 spacious dance studios, lounge with viewing area and dressing room.
We can offer 1 or 2 full evenings per week. We offer competitive wages in relation to qualifications and experience.
Additional wages may be earned for dance competition choreography.
If you are an instructor from Calgary, a drivers allowance is issued monthly.

Encora Marketing is looking for freestyle performers to work Fridays and Saturdays at a Calgary Casino. Dancers will be required to learn short routines that they will perform simultaneously (similar to what cheerleaders do on sidelines).

We are also in need of promo models and dancers for corporate events. Pieces will be choreographed.

We have an opportunity for Dance Instructors to join the company. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a fun and relaxed environment and to have a great time on the job! You will teach curriculum and after-school programs in childcare centres and schools, and work anywhere from 2 to 15 hours per week. All classes will take place Monday to Friday in between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm.

Job Requirements:
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Comfortable dealing with children of all age groups (pre-school to school age)
-At least 2 years of experience in teaching dance to children
-Experience teaching creative movement and Hip Hop classes and open to learning other dance styles
-Outgoing and energetic personality
-Experience choreographing dance pieces for students
-Proven track record of reliability, professionalism, and good work ethic
-Have a vehicle and be willing to drive up to 30 minutes to reach various centers

A hectic, fast paced and professional dance studio is looking for a full time fully trained ballroom dance instructors. We are looking for individuals who work well in a team environment, intense activity and the continuous management of a large number of students. There is a lot to learn regarding selling and administration which requires the individual to be a quick learner and accountable for knowing the information. Security in one’s ability is important as well as the ability to critically think in unexpected situations.

I am looking for a dance partner to practice and review intermediate/advanced salsa and bachata movies and patterns. Times and locations to be determined.
