Business Information: We provide dance lessons to ages 3- to adult in the areas of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Acro, Lyrical and Contemporary. Our training program enables students to feel confident and able to express themselves in a positive nurturing environment. Our families are an active and visible part of our facility and we encourage their involvement. We provide students with appropriate choreography and class experience. We are organized and prompt and consider the dancer as a whole to be our number one priority!

Job Duties:
• Teach dance techniques and artistic interpretation
• Prepare dance students for performances
• Perform dances
• Practice and rehearse dance routines
• Train and exercise to maintain the required levels of ability and fitness

Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school is required. A university degree or college diploma in dance or Graduation from a private dance school or academy is an asset.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a dancer in classical ballet, jazz, modern ballet, modern or interpretative, tap and hip hop are required.

Ballet syllabi: Vaganova is required.

Salary: $40.00 per hour, 30 to 40 Hours per week
Important information: The instructor will work from Monday to Friday from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, additionally on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM; and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Flexibility in schedule is required.
