Balbir Singh Dance Company seeks to bring on board an experienced International Dance Producer on a freelance basis, to work with the company on its international development plans as an Arts Council England - National Portfolio Organisation, over the next two years. This role is for a Producer based in Europe.

The UK-based BSDC specialises in a unique synthesis of classical Indian Kathak, contemporary dance and live music. The company performs works choreographed by Balbir Singh alone, adding his unique voice to the diverse dance scene in the UK and around the world. The company's work has been performed widely nationally, and increasingly internationally.

The company is one of only three organisations working with the Royal Opera House on its new Links scheme.

The company will be touring a triple bill of work in autumn 2013.

We are looking for a dance teacher to work a few hours a week at our very busy and established dance school. Must be reliable and hard working and be able to teach a class with enthusiasm and authority. The hours can be agreed around your current commitments. We are looking for a Qualified and insured teacher but have the facilities to help you towards your qualifications if you have the correct skills set.

We are looking for the right person to join our busy school in Doncaster to assist with Private coaching for competition work and/or taking classes.

We study IDTA Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz and Acro. Our students also study RAD Ballet. Knowledge of these syllabi is an advantage but not essential if you are willing to learn.

We are a local term time dance school, which has been established for over 40 Years. We require a dance teacher to work four hours a week over two evenings Wednesday and Friday, £16 per hour. This job is part-time and a permanent position. Teaching Street dance and freestyle Jazz to our pupils. We require that the Teacher should be able to choreograph own dances, be able to teach steps and routines and have some dance experience. Ballet and Tap would be an advantage, but not essential only for cover work. Students will be considered if living in York on a permanent basis.
