The School of Ballet Indiana is currently expanding and seeking a principle teacher for our preprofessional Ballet school.
The job is approximately 15-20 hours per week of dance instruction, including after school, evening hours, Saturday mornings and private lessons by request. The School of Ballet Indiana follows the public school calendar for major holiday and breaks (37-38 weeks). Optional Summer teaching and competition coaching opportunities will be paid separately.
Other opportunities:
-perform and/or choreograph for ballet Indiana, a non-profit production company affiliated with the school of ballet Indiana.
-potential for opportunity to co-direct ballets for ballet
indiana
-hired as a head coach/weekly coaching for our upper level students that compete in ballet competitions.
-Opportunities to grow your individual brand and name through students and competitions.
-opportunities to grow your individual brand through continued dance or dance related education and certifications.
We are looking for great teachers that have a wonderful understanding of ballet technique and a positive attitude!
