QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education, Experience and Certifications:
• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA or other nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• AED/CPR/First Aid certifications required.
• Must have 1-2 years experience teaching hip hop classes in a group exercise setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, including the ability to motivate others.
• Must be available to teach in the evenings.

We are a growing dance school seeking experienced and entry level dance teachers for the 2014-15 dance season. Classes are offered for students ages 12 months to adult at a beginning to pre-professional level. Applicants should be proficient in one or more of the following dance styles: ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern or lyrical. Yoga, Pilates or ballroom dancing is a plus. Teachers will be required to choreograph and must feel comfortable setting choreography.

Additional qualifications are a strong focus on technique, good organization and communication skills. We are a Christian based program so teachers should be comfortable working in a Christian environment. Benefits may be available and will be discussed at the interview. Weekday evening and Saturday morning/afternoon hours are available.
